Dushu Lake is located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, northeast of Yinshan Lake in Jinji Hunan, with an area of approximately 11.52 square kilometers. It was formed due to a major earthquake during the Song Dynasty.

Dushu Lake has a unique geographical location, surrounded by the lake, with a tunnel passing through the bottom of the lake, connecting the east and west of the lake.
